Meet the Doctor and the Staff
We truly believe that the relationship between our staff and patients is of utmost priority. Our office has been solely built by the old fashion way: "word of mouth". Dr. Briney doesn't believe in advertising and the most important way in building an ethical and professional practice is by creating trusting and personal relationships; hence why patients are on a first name basis with everyone.
Dr. Jeffrey R. Briney
Dr. Briney was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where he subsequently attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and four more years for his Degree in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). He completed another year of hospital residency concentrating on all surgical aspects of dentistry. Shortly after leaving Indiana, he had a practice in Beverly Hills working with the entertainment industry. In 1999, he decided to move to Orange County and pursue his dream of establishing a private practice close to the ocean which is where he is now in Dana Point! He is very involved with the city of Dana Point and builds friendships everyday.

Karrie, RDH (Hygienist)
Karrie has been a hygienist with Dr. Briney since he started his practice in 1999. Karrie has been considered by her patients as one of the most detailed and thorough hygienists they have ever met. Most importantly is her personal care and professionalism she displays on a routine and consistent basis. She has been certified for Laser Hygiene protocols to offer the most advanced oral healthcare today and continues to follow the latest in our ever-evolving industry. Karrie displays genuine care for the patient's well being and thrives for a relationship that parallels a close friendship.
Marina, RDH (Hygienist)
Marina has been a great addition to the office after an extremely intense search for an additional hygienist last year. Marina has exemplified the highest standard of care which is associated with Dr. Briney's office. Every patient has been overly complimentary in the care and professionalism that they have experienced with Marina. Marina is certified in Laser Hygiene protocols in order to offer the most advanced oral healthcare in today's ever evolving industry.
Shy, Doctor's Chairside Specialist
Shy has had extensive training and experience in the dental field for over 15 years. Shy is extremely personal and goes over and beyond to make sure the patient's experience is stress free and easy. The patients feel very comfortable discussing not only their dental needs and concerns, but they love talking about everyday life with Shy. Her professionalism and friendliness sets the bar for the dental field.
Sjana, Front Office Manager
Sjana has been with Dr. Briney since early 2015 and has several critical roles in the office. She is the coordinator for the hygiene scheduling and treatment planning. . Sjana has a very bubbly personality and the patients love working with her. She is very knowledgeable in the insurance billing and treatment planning for the office while putting the patient's best interest on par with her own.
Bersabeh, Front & Back Office Assistant
Bersabeh (Bear) has been with Dr. Briney for over 5 years and directly assists him in almost all his procedures. She is one of the first people the patient meets in the back office for the initial exam appointment and patients are met with immediate kindness and gentleness. She always is the first to see the good things in difficult situations. Patients will always feel comfort knowing that she is chairside.
